A series of coincidences and blind faith of a village puts an ordinary young girl on a pedestal and how her life takes a turn for worse when she is branded as the reincarnation of Goddess and the savior of the village. ‘Devi’ brings to light the superstitions prevailing in our society, the reluctance to break free from them and the subsequent effect it has on a young innocent girl’s life.
